I guess resolutions are made to be broken.  I had such good intentions for the new year, and was so excited about crafting!!  My resolution lasted two days.  I made myself do two crafts on January 1 and 2, but then life set in, and no crafts since.  We have been sick over here, and I have been working on my word for this year--SIMPLIFY.  Anyway, I have two new craft projects that I made for our dogs, Macie and Bridgette.  They had to have Valentine's collars, so here they are.  I guess this is project #3.  Plan to craft today, so maybe more projects will be done.

Day 2/Baby Card

Today was a very busy day!!  Grant spent some time with Mimi while plumbers were at his house.  He napped, we played, we shopped, and Grant and his mother ate dinner with us.  Needless to say, I had to make myself come and do a quick card for Ben and Heather tonight.  James is 3 weeks old, and we needed to get a gift off to them.  Here is a very quick, but cute baby card.

New Year 2013/Day 1/White Christmas Pages

My goal is to complete and post a creative activity daily this year.  My goal is to have 365 posts at the end of the year!!  Here is my first post of the new year.  I wouldn't have done this without a goal.  I'm thrilled to have two new pages done!!  Here's to many more page completions!!

New Year

Just a post to state one of my goals for 2013.  Each day I will post a creative activity that I have worked on that day. At the end of the year, I would like to have 365 projects that I have completed.  My goal this year is to do something creative everyday.  I feel that I don't take advantage of the time that I have been given, so my goal is creativity in 2013.  Look for my posts.  We may both be surprised.  I hope to have my office in order before too much longer and then you can see my work place soon.  Happy New Year!!!

Already a Model

Grant has had his first professional pictures shots!!!  He truly looks like a baby model, doesn't he?  I know that I'm biased, but what a darling!!!  Can you believe he is wearing a wool aviator hat in Texas in July?  It was over 100 the day he had his pictures made, as are most of our days in July this year!!

Changes are Here!!

Antiqueland has closed its doors.   The beautiful mall is now closed!  It has been hard to see what happened.   We have all been sad about the situation, but we all must move on to other things.  I have boxed up all my lovely treasures and am trying to decide what to do.  Should we move on, find a new location or use internet sales sites.  It is hard to make a decision, since we have another change.

Last Friday, Grant, my darling new grandson was born, so it has been hard making a business decision with such a sweet distraction.  He weighed 8 lbs. 6 ozs. and was 19 inches long.  He is beautiful and such a great baby.

Round Top Treasures are now in our booths!!!

This spring we have been to Round Top to collect some treasures for our booth.  Janelle and I have booths right across from each other and I think you will enjoy visiting both!!!  Thought you might like to see some of our Round Top pictures.

Antique Ice Box from Arkansas

Our new booth at Antiqueland has evolved.  We have many pieces of furniture that we love and want to keep.  Today our icebox sold.  When we first got married 37 years ago, we always wanted an ice box, but we weren't able to find a place at home for this authentic piece.  I hope the person who bought it will love it!!!
